14 wasnt way to fast, it was perfect. so they changed it so the ring of gods doesnt increase your speed? damn.

There are also some magical weapons (axe of misery and battle axe of misery plus the war axe of misery and dagger of ferret both of which you cannot buy, only find) that increase your speed.

In my copy of PoG, the ring of gods still gives you speed +3 (for a total of up to 14).

That is because it is the trinity plug-in that fixes the bug, not the 1.0.1 update.

It does. But only by 1 point instead of by 3 which it previously did(even though the
description said it didn't). So the Ring of the Gods now gives +1 to speed, and +3
to all other stats. Too bad it doesn't also give a bonus to mind and undead protection..
But I guess we can't have everything..
