Nova Conversion

I've searched everywhere around where the system that I found the Alien Fighter was in on the last mission where I was supposed to locate the aliens. Am I looking in the wrong place? Where are the Aliens? Can't find them.

Initially you're to look for suspicious activity in Risa, then I believe you check around Nexus. My memory is a bit foggy for the next part... I think you go to one of the empty systems between Canopus and Alcyon where you actually destroy the alien cruiser. The final battle is in a system past Gymkata, but the jumplink for that won't open until you're at that part of the thread.

I think they're in a different system depending on whether your doing the Rebel or Confed string.

For the Rebels, I'm fairly certain the aliens are in the galactic southwest, though it has been a long time since I did the mission.

:huh: I have searched the southwest area of the galaxy all over the place. Do they show up in a different system every time? Or if not I'd love to have the name of the system. :wacko:

Okay. I'm not sure which exact mission you're on in that thread, but... I opened up EV with ResEdit and I think what you're looking for is in Gamera, next to Canopus. At least that's the system in which the cruiser appears (ShipSys 181). What is the mission called? That would help me a lot more. Unless it's different in Nova.

And what does the mission text say to do?

if memmorry serves me it is somewhere between the trugati asteroid belt and lethe space, in an uninhabbited system. closer to trugati than lethe though.

I'm pretty sure it's in one of the southern uninhabited systems, but not as far south as the Trugati belt. Hank, maybe you need to wait a mo for the ships to hyper into the system. shrugs

No, that was for the Confeds.

It's in one of the uninhabited systems near Sauron.

I haven't played the game for a very long time, but if memory serves right, I believe it was the system below the system Atroops is in. It is in the southwest sector of the galaxy in the close gathering of uninhabited systems. Same system every time for me.
