I've been in there more times than I can keep track of and those blue things keep killing me. I've gone in with Undead Protection, Stone Potion, 300 Potions, etc. My armour is 88 my strength 30 but dex. is only 19. I'm at a level 23. What do I need to defeat these things? Any insight will be greatly welcomed.

Your dex could stand to be bumped up 2 or 3 notches. Also .. make sure you use your shield (the Z key on a Mac); this protects you during the meanies attack; then you take a turn swinging when they are not attacking. A decent weapon would help also. As well .. i'm up to armor 105 as a ranger and do okay against the blue meanies .. it's the Minotaurs that make me nuts. So .. i'm back to the southern regions to get more gold, more armor, etc. Hmm .. now where'd i put that spell that turns me into a Minotaur for stealth..?

By "blue things" do you mean the lean blue humanoids with big heads, and female blue
things with snakey hair? If so, those are mind-hunters and not undead. So your
undead protection would not be any help against them. You need mind protection to
keep yourself safe.
Best bet is to get Heldan's hat. Heldan is in Berglum, just to the northeast of the
blacksmith. He will give it to you if you capture a dark fairy for him. Go talk to
him and he'll give you the quest and a cage to capture the fairy in. Complete the quest
and you will recieve his hat which is protection vs. mind attacks. This will make
facing the blue mindhunters much easier.
If you are talking about the shadowy figures, those I believe are called dark wraiths,
and they are undeads. Only advice I can give for those is to have undead protection
and lots of potions. They can be nasty.

Thanks, I finally got through that but had to go back to the witch, with a bunch of money and by approx. 56 of the green potions (300 each). I'm up to Knight but just don't seem to have enough dex. Just bought more dex. So hopefully that will help.,

Mary Kristina (sp?) in fantrima tells you where to get the Awareness training when she teaches you Pathfinding. If you don't have that skill, you will need it to get the awareness training.
Mary Kristina will refer you to a thief named Mesera who hides out in the Perugo Forest which is one square east of the North Gidolan tunnel entrance.
