I've a question: HOW THE HELL SHOULD ONE DO THE ARTEMIS GROUP FINAL MISSION????

Number A), you don't need to shout. Being a generic @$$hole doesn't get you much on these forums.

And number 2, to defeat the mass of Kestrels, Monty Pythoning works very well. Take out the Lightnings first, then go after the big suckers.

Yup, the Monty Python is pretty much your best bet. Also, if you destroy some of the kestrels and land, they don't respawn, but you'll have to kill all the fighters again because they do.

Yup, ut what is the Monty Python thing? How should I destroy these Lightnings? They go and stack themselves and then shoot me with the massive lasers. its like, 20 lightnings which is pretty much 100 laser cannons. Should i use torps or missles?

The Monty Python Maneuver.

To defeat the Lightnings, do you have Proton Bolt Turrets? If not, get 'em. As many as possible, in fact. Then just follow the tactics for the Monty Python, and you'll finish them in no time.

I think the first time I did that mission, I hired 6 kestrels of my own.

IIRC it's in one of the empty systems south of Sauron, but I don't remember which one exactly.

I always did the Monty Python, and killed the Lightnings first with just primary weapons, saving my real artillery for the Kestrels.

Ok, found the Alien cruiser. But it was in the tyrvin system, although it was SUPPOSED to be towards the Tugati asteroid belt...

Fed string, huh? I hope you've got the Particle Beam; it helps a lot with this mission.

Anyways, if you're having trouble killing the Aliens; remember, they don't have armor, and you only need to oust the Cruiser. I suggest you get Laser Cannons and Proton Turrets; they have the highest shield-damage to ton ratio you can get short of the aforementioned Particle Beam and Space Bombs, both of which have their own shortcomings. Don't bother with missiles or torpedoes; they don't do damage fast enough, and you're liable to run out of ammunition before you do any real damage.

And watch out for those fighters.
