I can't find somewhere to start being a rebel. I've searched and searched and searched... and I can't find the rebel parcel mission. Makes me  .

Why not do both strings at once? I highly recomend it, it's great. Start the rebel parcels mission and before you complete it, go and get the confed. documents mission. Then, you've successfuly entered both strings.
Because (believe it or not), it's actually more fun to play EV the way it is meant to be played.
As for starting the Rebel mission, do what Callide said. Look for a mission in the bars that involves someone dropping a napkin with a note on it telling you to meet them in Loading Dock 94 (at least, that's what I think it's called; it's definitely something with a 94).

Could be cargo bay 94.

That's a matter of opinion. All I said was that I highly recomended it, and I do. So, let's leave it up to Rossy.
Is it really possible to do both at the same time? I'll have to try that. It's probably difficult. (Not the missions. I mean starting both at the same time)
Edit: It is only a matter of opinion. Lets not fight too much about it. It is true that you do ruin the game if you do both story lines at the same time, but it is all up to the person playing the game.

i found when i did that...
i could only find one set of the missions was available
mainly the rebels...
btw i found the confed missions harder to find
but the cruiser is far better then the rebel one
plus the proton cannon -
No worries. And I do agree that the Confed Carrier is stronger then the Rebel Carrier. (This might lead to a poll.) The Confed ships are way stronger then the Rebels (my opinion), but the I like the Rebels more.

You mean Cruiser, not Carrier ;).

Yes. I guess. I know he said cruiser, but I did mean to say that carrier was better. But the cruiser is great, too.

But there are no rebel carriers or confed carriers, unless you're using some kind of crazy plug-in that added ships.
Converted Bulk Freighters carrying Mantas don't count?

Then the big "carriers" are called cruisers? As you can tell, I haven't played in a while. Sorry  . Be patient with me. I'm into EV Nova now. I'll eventually come back to EV.

That is an Escort Carrier.

Yeah. No worries, I just thought I'd correct it in case other people got confused.

Thanks for the correction. I just don't have the time I used to. I want to play the EV trilogy more, but school takes up too much time now.
