Is it possible to be a bounty hunter in EVO ? Can I get bounty hunter missions ? I always wanted some and the only thing that was even close was capturing that renegade so they could 'convince' him to give them information (Free Huron string).

Actually, after finishing the first set of Zachit missions and being made a member of the Zachit you can find bounty hunting missions in two or three flavours in North Tip mission computers. You can also go to Strandless and Independent human planets and occasionally get offered them in the spaceport bars. You can also get "defend the planet" missions in those bars as well.
