In the purple levels...there are some crab claws that extend out and snap at you. Are they invincible or can you destory them? If you can, how the duces did you do it?

And...it seems to me that the wizards can only be hurt with there own balistics. Has anyone had the patient enough to kill them, or does everyone just avoid the wizards the best they can?

What Purple levels? Are you sure your talking about Ferazel's Wand?

Ben Spees answered this one a long time ago. The flying wraiths are supposed to be destroyed by deflecting back their own shots. Ben said it would take about 5 deflections, but it seems to be a bug in the game that they can't be destroyed. I once tried about 25 deflections and they were still there. I think Ben was planning to fix this bug in the 1.04 update, but don't know the status of that.

The claws are not destroyable - just leap over them.

How I get by the crab claws:

I jump onto the platform on the very edge. I wait until they just start to strike, then jump over them. Recover quickly and make the next jump. I usually get hit by the last one, it strikes a little higher and is harder to avoid.

I like the crab claws, and plan to make them both destructable and a more worthy adversary in my levels. They definitly have room for improvement!

I, being pretty good with MASCOT, know that there is no way to make the damn crab claws destructable.
