Hi, all! I've been enjoying playing EV on Basilisk II. I just downloaded the Pale plugin. After unpacking the file, I ended up with two new files, Pale Data 1 and Pale Data 2.

What do I do with these two files to make Pale work?

Just put them in the in the plug-in folder ofcourse.

Could anyone explain how to make Basalisk work on XP sp 2?

I have evrything set up, but when i run it, i get the "hourglass" for a second or two but nothing happens.

When i run it half set up, basalisk gives me an error, so the program obviosluy can run....

Well, I've put Pale in the plugins directory, but absolutely nothing appears to be different.

Is that the way it should be?

Check the Read Me for any installing instructions. Usually Data files require you to make the old data files .old and rename the ones for the plug. I have no experience with Basilisk II, so it's probably different. Consult it with the Read Me.

Did it work before you installed SP2?

Actually, I should first be asking -- do you even have a hard disk file that you're booting from? You'll need that (see the other active Basilisk post on the board for a link to a site that'll explain how to set that up).

I used the exact setup from Home of the Underdogs, as well as trying two other valid rom files.

Nothing works. and no, i never dled basalisk until after i got SP 2
