All fighters charge into the pirate line firing missiles, torpedos, and rockets. the front line of argosies drop to torp fire and 3 vettes to rockets. The Rapiers then run to maximum range and begin unloading torps into the last 2 corvettes. Half the remaining lightnings go after their counterparts while the others defend the Rapiers. With the fighters keeping the bulk of the enemies busy the last 2 corvettes hunt down lone lightnings.

The bombardment of torpedos took it's tole destroying the remaining pirate corvettes. The Jadzian corvettes took out a pair of lightnings that had strayed from the rest, as Jadzian Lightnings took out the rest of their counterparts. With the rest last of the pirates gone, the Jadzian fleet demanded surrender.

The light freighter being upgraded at Liberty Starport is completed. I now have...

I can harvest 200 tons of metal per post. It has abot 1.5 x the shielding of a light frieghter, 4 laser turrets, and a flat top for ship docking.
I'm deploying it to the Asteroid belt to the galactic west, where it hould harvest about 250,000 credits worth of metal per post.
The USS Farragut has captured a Pirate Argosy, which is being scrapped at Liberty Starport.
