Oh oops I didnt think anyone had signed up as Cydonian, I sure didnt know that you were bucking for President of them. I really think that if the EV Websory wants to avoid the problems of BFS it needs a neutral GM. I also think the mission based tech gains would also keep the game on a more even basis.

Nope, and that's the most major part too. 
Those 6 were at Pearl, only Akagi, Kaga (sister ships), Soryu, and Hiryu (smallest 2) were at Midway.
I don't have any reference materials on hand to look up all the other stuff, just things I remember from really big books years ago.

Hey Skyblade, if you're thinking about reducing income/fleet sizes that much, then you might consider decreasing the size allotments for classifications such as warfleets, divisions and brigades. By the looks of it, your large fleet of 3 cruisers, 5 destroyers, and 15 mantas is a very very very small brigade. heh

I haven't quite, but it's a definite possibility. If that does go through, I will be a neutral player, possibly both GM and leading an unaligned group of independent worlds that would be strictly neutral or something, we'll see. Others mentioned Cydonia too, so those two (Cydonia/Lethe) are quite full already.

Yes, that's quite correct, 4 were at midway, 4 sank, and the US Yorktown sank as well. Factoids acquired off Battlefield episodes from a long time ago. 
Hey Skyblade, I think that all Confed planets should be core worlds, with the exception of maybe Capella and Matar. In the game, all of the confed planets seemed to have lots of stuff in them, especially antares and polaris. If you do that, then you can give the rebels a couple of regional capital core worlds, I think perhaps at Nemesis or Sirgil and Adhara or Tiber.

Why is the manta so much better than a patrol ship yet costs so much less? Same can be said about the frigate... and I think the patrol ship has 4 missiles as well. is there some secret advantage that confed ships have that i don't know about?

Confed Patrol is much more expensive in EV, and decided to keep some of that price difference within the webstory. Most regard the PS as a better ship anyway (even though I sharply disagree). Patrol Ship carries two missiles, although the AI will always fire three (since they get additional ammo load).

Skyblade, your idea of 3 cruisers and 5 destroyers being a large task force is ludicrous. A task force was equivalent to a modern day carrier group. They were built around at least one carrier and had several battleships and cruisers along with dozens of smaller support ships as escorts. In addition, these were usually larger so that they consisted of at least 2 fleet carriers, 3-4 escort carriers, and a corresponding increase in the number of support ships. Just thought I'd point that out.

All the systems in the EV universe are independent, and each player controls 1 independent homeworld, and we can all be against each other (or form secret alliances, overt alliances, you name it!). Regardless of what your opinion may be, did I get my point across? Fleets are going to be smaller.

I do have webstory experience... sorta. I participated in the Soda Wars (2nd Edition), some webstories at The Spaceport Bar (Unofficial EV Webboard), and some RPGs.
But that's okay. I'd probably end of resigning anyway, since I don't have that much 'time'. So, you're on the Cydonians?
Maybe someone should join the Pirates - no one has joined the Pirates, people are sinking away from the Confederation, and people are jumping into the Rebellion and Cydonian governments.

Well, SodaWars was never really a true "webstory..." A comedy if anything.
I'm serving as president of the Rebellion. For some reason, I have a feeling the Cydonians will have Confederation support, and the Lethe, Rebel.
Ipvicus: Glad to hear your with the Confeds, but I'm afraid those positions are already taken. If David Arthur doesn't get the presidential position, General Rak will. You can be a vice president if Rak does take control of the Confederation, but not sure how this will all shape out yet...
