    • Lightning Jump for EV?

      I know there is a Lightning Jump plug-in for EVO, but is there one for the original EV?

      Ah well, I imagine the Lightning Jump would speed up your jump time, either that, or lesson the amount of time it takes to travel between stars... There was another topic on here not too long ago about this, and I believe they came up with the plug-in QuickJump or somesuch as a result. Check the Add-Ons page for likely names if your desperate.

      As the author of Lightning Jump, I feel obligated to answer this question... 🙂

      Lightning Jump basically makes it so that you hyperjump instantaneously (no waiting for your ship to charge up, accelerate, and flash) to each system. This is not to be confused with QuickJump, which makes jumps only last 1 day of game time (LJ doesn't affect that) I remember making both EV and EVO versions, but I don't remember if both are still available. There's a chance they might actually be bundled together. If not, you could let me know and I could try to upload it again, or you could modify the EVO one by changing the data type and creator from EVO to EV and it should work.
