If you go to Sophilia in a ship with the cloaking device, and a fuel replicator, and demand tribute (before taking out any of the confed. ships in the system) and then cloak. The confederate ships which were in the system when you arrived, will attack the defense force.
They act as though they were your escorts, and will eventually dominate Sophilia for you. When you uncloak though, they will attack you. Has anyone else noticed this ? and does it work this way at any other confed. planet ??

Never noticed that...I HAVE noticed, however, that if you launch your escorts, and then cloak, your enemies will either cease to move or cease to be hostile toward you. While you are cloaked, your escorts can pound away at them and kill them...

I've noticed the thing about them stopping, too. That's a good feature, because your escorts just kick the crap out of the other guys who don't move. Then you get all the money. I hope this will be in Nova, I couldn't have done the Strand War objective (in Override) without it.
