How do I get the mission which gives me access to he Rebel Dreadnought. I've done a hoard of missions, and have access to everything from the Rebel Sentinel to the Cruiser to the Defense Platform. Where on earth do I find more missions, what do I have to do to get that Rebel Dreadnought?

We felt that no matter how grateful, a government would not give you their biggest ship, unless you join the Confeds and are assigned that vessel to captain...but that is a different plugin. This is true of the Hydras, Rocks, and Scorpions as well.
However, since security leaks have allowed the Rebels to copy the design for the Planetary Defense Platform, PDPs can be purchased by favored governments or wealthy Confed (or Rebel) proven patriots. However they suck in the hands of the player. The DDT will sell loyal freedom fighters a Deathfreighter, but that sucks even more (although it is a super escort). Major Astex Corp. shareholders can even buy the Astex Ore transport, which is pretty good--for an armed freigher.
But if you really want a given ship, just swallow your pride and pop in the cheater.
