I've looked in every planet in the system and I can't find any Confederat ship escorts. I have access to alien escorts, but it's boring. Confeds are better because you look more powerful with those big @$$ ships. If there's a plugin like that, then reply.

I think you can get Confed escorts by completing certain missions, but I don`t know for sure

That's only for EVO. I've had EVO for over a year now without registering it, and Cap'n Hector D. Byrd is still blowing the crap outta me every chance he gets.

I have a question about escorts. Now, I recently just started play EV (unregistered version) and so far I can't find any type of an in game manual or help screen. Here is my question: "How do I dismiss escorts?"
I keep losing too much money because I can't seem to find an option that lets me get rid of them!
Also, what effects your chances of capturing a ship? I notice I can easily get Clippers and Couriors, but ships like frieghters only give a 1% chance, and they tend to self-destruct alot.

Press alt and "scroll" through the ships in the system, your escort should now become selected. Hail it, then press the button in the middle, you have now fired your escort. Hope that helps.

Thanks Shadow. I just read the FAQ for EV, which I somehow missed the first time I came to this website. All my questions have been answered now....well...unless you want to hint about where I can find the nuke, "forklift". I read about it... The thing is, I don't want a spoiler, but a little nudge as to where I can go to find it would help. Unfortunatly I don't have a lot of time to play a game and find all the "easter eggs".
