Hey,

I'm new to the board, and relatively new to the game (level 10 agent, Experienced, ranked #13).

I just got myself stuck in a nasty little jam. I took a low-risk mission to steal a file from a rival company. No big deal, right?

However, earlier in the game, I wiped the target server clean for another mission.

I'm not eager to abandon the new mission because I know I'll get downgraded.

Any suggestions?

Just abandon the mission, the downgrade wont be too harmful at your level, you will just need to complete a few more missions to make up for it.

Or you could try waiting a long, long time, some missions just go away on their own, possibly with no penalty.
Or ignore the mission, dont abandon, dont worry about it, it'll just take up a bit of screen space until you do something.
Or wait, the file might eventually show up on its own.
