Sapphire, Spells Expander, World of CHa0s, okay I'll include Damsels in Distress, and several in the works have more in-game storyline than the game itself. I understand though that you don't have a copy of PoG.

You must have misread it. PlotWriter is a text editor geared to making scripts and dialogues. It isn't pre made plots. It is designed to make your plots easier to use and read. RPG designer is a planning tool for (oddly enough) RPG's. You can sketch out a map and then use that as a background and put it all together. That way you can properly plan out all your game before you make it. It is like an electronic sketch pad. Instead of using Pen and Paper to design a game you can use RPG designer.

I find it hard to believe that one would attempt to use Coldstone without knowing what the software has already produced. I would think a game developer would want to see a game developed with the product that he/she is using. In addition, the existing quest-oriented plugins show a great deal of creativity. A standard has been set which surpasses every game submitted to the Coldstone contest earlier this year. I'm sorry to say this, but there are plugins which put those games to shame.**
Though bare in mind that most were made in under 3 months , GoT was made in about 1 and a half. Yaru was made in 4 or 5 days. MSD was made in about 2 months, maybe less. The fact is that in that time these people, including myself, had to come up with a plot, make the graphics, the music, the sound and put it all together. GoT could have been much better if it wasn't for restrictions. How long do you reckon that the best PoG plug ins took? And how many of them required loads of new graphics and music and sounds to be made. Plug-ins have the benefit of having most of the media already done. You can concentrate on the story. Try making a game and you will realise the amount of work that goes into one. I bet anyone here could make a better plug-in than a game in the same amount of time.
Saying the same amount of work goes into a plug-in than a game is not fair on those game makers. As I said, you try making a game and coming to the same conclusion (and you cannot use the PoG library to make the game)
