I wonder if it's too late to add a feature like that, mb not for PoG, but just something that's already there if you want to use it (Dee, Andrew, if you see this)

Because the games we make don't have to be all the same, I mean the game could just be making a living and trying to sustain health levels by earning money and buying necessities.

Or certain ways to get food items, like fishing or baking (Like in cythera) even if they don't do anything like restore hp/mp (like breath of fire3 or earthbound)

.....AND THATS ALL I GOTS TO SAY ABOUT THAT

What if you had another meter besides health and magic and so on, that decreased with time and/or damage, and increased when you ate/drank/rested and the higher it was, the stronger and more capable you were (Like in Heavy Metal FAKK2)

What if you could have as many other meters as you wanted? And use them for whatever you wanted? So somebody could have a 'thief' attack that damaged your money meter, or an energy drain that damaged your hunger meter, or whatever?

Saturday:
10:00AM: Started smoking...woke up, called my best mate and he brought round an ounce.
12:00PM: Walked into town, met up with our girls, went and had a smoke with them
4:00PM: Went round to my mate Ed's house...played cards, smoked a blunt and drunk a half litre bottle of whiskey

I think a money meter would be a good substitution in some games, but not in all, supose you had a job or something that was a major part of the game and you got paid every so often (Like in Final Fantasy VIII), the gold meter could just regarge when you rested, like doing your work, going home, and going to bed, the gold will be there when you wake up.

And purchases could simply damage this meter, as well as some attacks, and some items, when collected, refilled the meter. Of course you could do normal stealing/lose gold and you can just set it to increase over time but then you have complete controll over how your own game will be.

However, this kind of limits the game's plot/gameplay options and probably won't be used too much (With all of the new features and ambitions of some ppl on this board it's going to be great when coldstone's been out for months and there are dozens of great freeware RPGs)
