.....that you don't just have to make levels? you can also use res-edit to make new enimies/bonus's. AVN said in the original OBW topic that he made lots of stuff with res-edit. I'm hoping that people will do this because it could be just as fun (or funny) as the levels are.

    • Yes but I get enough crap running MASCOT with normal files that I feel no need to make new ones....although Dr Tall Land does contain 1 new FG tileset, 1 new BG tileset, 1 one of those things that fills spaces i don't know what its called picture, 19 new titles, 3 character faces, and three speakable chacters. But that is in no way close to a total conversion....a total conversion for FW would be suicide 😉

    • It is pretty much impossible to make new enemies, unless you can reverse engeneer the code. I have seen AVN's levels for OBW, and there are no new enemies in them. His levels are tricky, even the easiest ones. 🙂

    • I've just started trying editing the data files, but whenever I try to edit the backgrounds file with ResEdit, it gives me this error: The end of the file was unexpectedly reached. (-39)

I haven't tried the other files yet, but I think it may be the case with those too.

(edit)I just realized that Bob the Mediocre had put a message right before me and I hadn't seen it, so I just clarified things(/edit)

I believe thiis error means the data you pasted in is corrupted. Delete it, save and close the file, reopen it, recopy and paste it, and repeat until the error stops usually works on the first try for me.

No matter what I do (delete any resource, change info), it gives me that error. Maybe I should re-install Ferazel's Wand because the whole file might be corrupted (even though I can play fine).
