I believe that is the purpose of these clans. To promote inter-clan play. Develop skills and then go out and face others. I'm sure you have noticed passworded {MG} games that are there to help build character and skill. Don't be so quick to say clans at this stage are stupid.

ah, but we do make freinds while recruiting. people OFTEN ask me for rematches, and i agree, but while in between we get to know eachother.. Jalai, you dont get it, your getting the terms mixed up. Guild is a very loose group and you dont really have to be friends, a clan on the other hand is strict and very tight with eachother. (form what i gather its always been this way, prove me if im wrong.) these are guilds, not clans, but i think {MG} will soon evolve into a clan.

and for having webpages, sure, ill put one up for the Masters Guild in an hour if you want....

Alright. It was surprising though. I had beat Talos several times and we had quite a good rivalry going. And I did beat you. But that is beyond the point. People in clans/guilds/groups have to realize that there leader may not be the best but he is still the leader.

Anyway, sorry for the misuse of the word clan.

np thrawn, and yes, the leader isnt always the best. i belive i have surpassed Talos in skill, since he hasnt been on in a while, and i dont normally get slaughtered anymore by the mods. but you guys sure do put up a fight. moderator games usually come out 2-3 with me, very close and hard. i hope it stays this way, i always have a good time playin against a mod.

And your term of non-serious gameplay is contradicted by the fact that your making clans at this stage of the game. This shows that your obessed with the game to the point where you will recruit anyone who meets your 'skill level'. It doesnt matter if there are jerks are not.

Jeez Jalai, I think you are the uptight jerk in this case. I don't really think you need to keep attacking us for our opinions, unless you're an unsecure guy. It's not like we're pirating or anything. We're just trying to promote friendly team-play, in a semi-organized form. And if you have a problem with that, I think you suffer from mental problems. Everybody else, thanks for being receptive and open about your opinions. We appreciate positive, helpful input.

Okay, I'll play a game sometime, but I have 2 problems:

1. Modem play, I'm supposed to stay on for 20 minutes at a time, I normally break that rule, but still..
2. Honestly, I'm scared everybody's better then me :), too afraid to join a game, and if you don't hit join right when it pops up, someone else beats you too it.
   (as you can read on the next post, I played my first game!! Lots of adrenilene (although I always get pumped up about games) it was scary, and fun. At the second/third round, I didn't want to win, because then it would last longer. Wow, I played agaisnt a mod.. neat. He had a game up with the discription saying something close to Can I beat anyone? so I couldn't resist.. :D)

You aren't too bad. Sure I beat you, but it was close. And I win about 60-70% of my matches at the moment.
