    • I have assembled nearly 50 spinblocks in a line, each with different info fields...and one switch
      --------------------

      Arghggg..I simply can't get any of them to open. I know I did it somewhere along the line....maybe you'll just have to play dirty. You could use AVN's rock barrier method with the spinblocks I guess...but if you don't have enough room to ascetically place that type of system...I think you're going to have to keep tinkering.

    • I researched spinblocks a while back, this is the info I dug up, it seems to conflict with other people's findings, but perhaps it will be helpful in some way.

      0: 2 = isn't there unless button in 1 is pressed, other numbers do nothing (cannot be made to disappear when button is pressed)
      1: ID of button
      2: unknown
      3: 1 for unbreakable by spin jumps

      This is very discouraging. However, it is logical. Could AVN's method be used? If so how? Would it be something like this:

      B1 is pressed lifting
      P1 and removing pressure from
      B2 which then makes
      spinblock solid

      I am having some trouble activating this, however.

    • No, AVN's effect requires you to be able to open a switch....and spinblocks apparently can't do that. I really thought I used to be able to but maybe I'm delerious

      S=Switch
      ?=spinlock
      B=rockBarrier

      S2?
      ---
      B
      S1

      Set B info (0) to S2's sprite ID and set ? info (1) to S1's sprite ID. Now, when S2 is pressed, ? will open. However, this can only be done once. S2 does not need to be in visual sight range of ? but B and S1 do.
