      Hi, i was wondering about an EV Multiplayer, and if there is ever going to be one, and if not, could i ahve a go at trying to make a simple one that is text based?

      The official position is that there will never be a multiplayer Escape Velocity. As mburch once said about multiplayer EV, "I wrote that in a weekend once a couple years ago as a test, and it wasn't any fun. Multiplayer EV is essentially Spacewar which has been done to death."

      There is no Ambrosia-sanctioned multiplayer EV available or planned. You are free to attempt to develop one of your own, provided you obtain Ambrosia's permission before using any of their trademarks (for instance, the name Escape Velocity).
