I have just downloaded(and started playing) with EVNEW. I started with changing the Fed Destroyer so it had green stripes on the side(silly i no) and i saved it but when i test it only when it faces up does it have the stripes. Why? I changed all the angles in the bmp file. If anyone knows why please tell me. I need to get the basics as I want to start work on changing the Rage Gunboat into a star wars Republic Gunship.

If it works in one frame, your technique for changing it is working. When you look at it in EVNEW, does it show the lines on all frames? I suspect it was something silly (like forgetting to save the graphics file before you imported it, so you imported an old version of it).
In the future, please try to write more clear descriptions of your problem. I had to read what you wrote several times to get a clear idea of what your problem was.

Ok. But i checked again and at all angles the Fed Destroyer had the silly green lines on. It wasn't just changing the first frame all of them were changed. It should work but when i import it doesn't.

Did you use a spďn resource for the ship animation instead of a shän? Using a spin will put your ship into the game and let you fly it around but the ship won't rotate.

No. All i did was export the fed destroyer rleD and change it on that then import it again so that it had lines on. Then when i imported it the only thing that was changed was when the ship was pointing up. Why?

Try this:
Export the mask for the destroyer
delete the RLED from your plug
Create a new RLED of the same ID in your plug
Import the sprite and mask with the proper x-size, y-size, and frame settings.
The settings in the import window are VERY important - i think you may have left xframes and yframes as 1 - which would cause a problem
