OK, so I'm just starting off trying to get to grips with making plugs for EV. My question is pretty blindingly simple if you know how to do it I imagine, but using resedit how do you extraxt the default ship files so I can modify the graphics, stats, etc.

I assume you mean the rleD rsrc in the 'Nova ships 1' but how do I extract the important files?

The ship sprites are stored in a rle8 and rleD format in the files Nova Ships 1-5.
weapon, planet, roid spins are stored in the same format in Nova Graphics 2.
