Could you perhaps send me a copy of the plug with just my ships in it, I would really like to see whet they look like in game and I am hopeless at making plug-ins so I havent been able to add them myself.

Cool stuff. If you do the D7, then I'm going to render my refit Constitution. I wasn't going to because I didn't want to step on your territory. If you have a Klingon, then of course, you have to have the Enterprise... If you tell me how large you make your ship, then I can render mine to be to scale.

That's a fine idea, Matrix. Both my D-7 and my Constitution refit are 100x100, while my K'Tinga is 120x120. (I could probably get away with 100x80 and 120x96, though).
What I need to render now are the torpedo and disruptor graphics. Everything else is pretty much done.

As disappointing as it sounds, I'm not doing lights at all -- since I've got a 56.6 modem in my rev. A bondi iMac, I'm trying to keep the file sizes down (recently I cut all my shield graphics for much the same reason -- never saw shield bubbles in TOS or the films anyway, and went from 70MB of ship graphics to 20 that way). I may do a plug for adding the lights (and possibly another for shields) later.
The engine glows, on the other hand, are quite prevelant. I do have engine glows for all ships -- both warp nacelles (either the plasma conduits, such as on the Klingon ships, the bussard ramscoops like on the TOS Enterprise , or both like on the...
Hmm.
My Easter egg ship is the only one that comes to mind.)
Ah. I know. The Constellation. That has both.
Anyway, the impulse engines on all ships also glow.
I'll try to get a new screenshot up this week to show a K'Tinga and a Constitution refit in action against each other so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about, as well as a feel for the sizes of the shäns and the look of the glows.

I was working through my ship, and I realized that I built it for show, and not for sprites. Engine Glows are out of the question, so I built them into the lights. So my refit Constitution has floodlights and such (I somehow forgot the running lights. I'm debating whether I want them or not), and impulse and warp engine glows, but they're all on the same layer. This pretty much works for me, because the movies didn't have much for changing the brightness of the engines except for warp. I'll send you a copy of one of the sprite layers to make sure that it's the right size (in relation with the ship(s) that you're going to submit to the Ships of the Webboard Plug.

SpacePirate, I lik eyour Gundam idea. Maybe you could use the "unfolds to fire" flag to make it spin upright when shooting. Play around with it.

I checked it out, and the images that you have posted are of really low quality. It'd help if the images were clearer. Right now, I'm not really impressed. If you're going to try to get more people interested, you're going to have higher quality images on your site.

I've been playing around with ideas, and am still not set on how I want to do it, but I'll probably have it flying around with a beam rifle and beam saber. I just hope my idea works... meh. Should I include the weapons for it?
