    • A Question About Making New "STARSHIPS"


      Hi
      I have been working a plug-in , trying to import new ship in to EVN
      then i came on with a question is " Can i import a bettle robot with some special animation that "starship" doesn't have
      sush as moving their hands when they are using their sword and moving sideway and back way while thier head are facing front way

    • You can have an animation occur when a weapon is being fired, but not for any specific direction or movement.

      so that mean the robot will be just like a robot shap starship
      than is point less to do so ~.~

    • I was thinking the same thing, a robot that moves in certain position when changing directions and or firing special weapons. But like mrxak says, only animation occurs when a weapon is being fired.

      Now there is an alternative, you can have a semi-mech. Meaning a ship that would suddenly extends its arm out in a complex animation that it looks like its transforming. This you could use for firing special weapons.

      And oh yeah, don't forget about the banking animation as well. you could have a robot with stabilizers whos flaps goes up or down depending which direction the robot turned.

      Damn straight, it's wierd.

      Animate it with banking frames that look like it's kicking away from a wall, or something. If all the limbs move when it turns, it'll look really cool.
