You may remember there was a plug for EVC called Arena, which was simply all the ships and outfits of the game available to fight various ships for cash, which is what all the missions were. It didn't have much of a plot, obviously, but it was fun to hone one's combat skills and mindless killing is sometimes enjoyable.

I was wondering if there would be any interest in a similar plugin for EV Nova. It is one of the few attempts which might be within my abilities to make, but I will not try it if no one would want it anyway.

So. Would anyone like a plug like that?

I'd be interested. What'd be interesting would be to have a load of empty ships available to the player, and have the number of outfits available increase as the combat rating goes up(of course you leave out the superweapons, like the capacitor pulse laser). As the player works his or her way up the ladder, then fully laden ships (with the superweapons already installed) become available, but you have to fight them first or something.

I would definately like to see a Nova version of Arena. I still play Arena occationally for fun, and it would be very nice to play with Nova ships and weapons. Don't forget to include all of the alternate versions of ships.
