He is a good idea for somebody to do: Have a bunch of monoliths(ala 2001) flying around Europa. Maybe even have a mission to do based on it. Anyway, I'd do it, but I suck at making graphics, even though a monolith is real simple to do.

The 2001 Space Odyssey ships and whatnot aren't all that complicated. Why don't you use POVRay or some other program to do that. It's a great idea.

All your base are belong to -oops, wrong line. All these planets are yours, except Europa, attempt no landing there, use them together, use them in peace.

Anyways, monoliths are simple to make since it's basically nothing but a rectangular slab of obsurd or obsidian or something like that.
