    • Darmyl - what it is

Alrighty, another thread posed the question, "What is Darmyl" as there are a few references in the game to this mysterious place, but they seem confusing and contradictory. I sent an email off to the guys at Beenox asking this and received a reply straightening things out:

Darmyl is the name of the world or continent/land mass that makes up the world of POG.
Garendall is the name of the region that is ruled by Gidolan Keep, which includes the ruins of High Garendall(named thus due to the fact that it resided within the high mountains above the Kingdom of Garendall).

I was told that when it came to crunch time a few errors were committed that Darmyl was substituted for Utian, thus in a few references it says Darmyl makes the best weapons, and is located beyond the mountains to the northwest, etc. This was a mistake. Darmyl is the name of the world, and Garendall is a kingdom within Darmyl, just as Utian Village is a place within the world of Darmyl(well, it will be as soon as the plug-in is finished).

Hope this helps to clear that up.

Morals are merely an impediment to the galactic conqueror and should be consigned to the abyss.

    • I had a hunch it was just a typo. Wonder what happens in other parts of Darmyl??
