      I need to know the best and easiest Utility to use to make plug-ins. I was using EV-Edit and that was messed up and very HARD!!! I heard resedit was hard to learn. If someone can tell me the utility(s) I need to use to make a VERY good plug-in I would be very happy. Also I am working on making EV on a network. I have played EV for 5 years and it is very fun!!! 🙂

      Use Res. Shmelta-V works well for missions, but don't use it for Dudes or Persi. Backup frequently. When in doubt, go to Resedit. It just takes time. Also, look for a guide called "The Resedit Beginers Guide". It is good. Should be somewhere on the site....

      Sorry, ResEdit ain't easy to use, and it's really showing its age, but it is far and away the best way to make plugs, IMHO. I programmed Secession 100% with ResEdit.

      EV-Edit looks easy, but tends to be very buggy and self-destructive.

      I've heard that Shmelta-V is good, but it only works for EV, so you have to go through trouble converting from EV to EVO, and then you still must use ResEdit to add the EVO data!

      Bottom line: Learn ResEdit. It will serve you well in the long run (unless it dies when OSX comes out... :frown: )
