      MacAddict just sent out their new magizine (with the monthly cd of course). Among others, Escape Velocity Overide was in there listed as one of the greatest Shareware games EVER!!!

      MacWorld named it one of the top 10 or 20 games (not necessarily shareware) about a year ago. That includes non-shareware, too, so it's gotta be good! I do think it's better than EV, stock, but EV comes in a strong first because of plug-ins.
      P.S. Does anyone agree with myself and Christiaan Huygens that most suns have a bunch of planets like our own sun? Did you also know that within 30 years there will be a highly advanced "interferometer" that will be able to detect Earth-mass planets, as well as liquid water, oxygen, and life on those planets? There is a primitive interferometer being built on the two 10-meter Keck telescopes that can detect Neptune-mass planets, but this new one will be so cool! I should stop... the PS is longer than the original message 🙂
