Don't you have classic? You could try dragging the file onto TextEdit and see if it shows any words.
Anyway, you should probably port the updated version rather than an old buggy one. The Reign I is the update of the original Reign of the Voinians and the Reign II includes all of Reign I plus a lot more.

I looked in Reign I and couldn't find any bug fixes which I haven't done yet by myself, though I wasn't sure why there was a spöb called 'Knox's Atmosphere', so I didn't use it.

Heh, that's a rather foolish thing to do. Okay, here it is in rtf. You may want to include it when you release it. Make sure you read Q 9 in the FAQ.
