Autonav decides to come as long as it DOES involve Council-whomping, and DOES NOT involve being sucked into a black hole and getting squashed down to the size of a carbon atom.

Looking around Osiris's echoing shipyard, shade finds a dusty cardboard box in the corner.
Opening it, he finds a sophisticated thingumwotsit.
Taking the thingumwotsit into orbit and switching it on, Shade waits about 2 hours for the thingumwotsit to do something.
Then he realises that the safety is on, switches it off, and tries again.
The thingumwotsit twists sub-space into an impressive new ship.
Sleek, black, and deadly, it is both extremely fast and extremely powerful- sub-space sheilding means it cannot be hit by normal weaponry.
Shade decides to name it the Blue Suede Cat for no apparent reason.

As Autonav hypers in to the Osiris system, he notices the new mass: the odd ship called the 'Blue Suede Cat' apparently. He sees that Shade was using an extremely powerful Thingamawhotsit Device. He uses it to make a new ship.
"The other one was crappy compared to this one," he says.
It only sports a Pressor Beam, but when powered to full, this weapon produces an electron ram. It has a mass-sink powerplant (or a black hole in a box) to supply the draining weapon. The only drawback is that the ship has the mass of a star.

But that's okay, because we can tow it!!! BTW, thought they were Blue Suede Shoes, but screw Elvis and his scandalous swinging hips.
Payback waits for Shade before he makes up anything stupid about the ship, like it being the mass of a star, which makes the ship halfway useless.

Yes, Payback, it is "Blue Suede Shoes". Glad you caught the reference. The idea is that the cat sat on the Blue Suede Shoes, thereby ruining them, and got turned into a Blue Suede Cat in retribution.
Besides, Elvis and his scandalous swinging hips are nothing compared to sluts like Kylie Minouge.
