I have to say that LoneIgadzra's little plug "Flying Pumpkins" is astoundingly funny and you should all check it out here: (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl?path=evo/plugins&file;=Flying Pumpkins.sit.bin")http://www.ambrosias...umpkins.sit.bin(/url)

    • Flying punkins, eh? Reminds me of a plug from a long time ago that had to do with flying blobs.....and blob carriers......and a mother blob. Quite macabre, yet fun!

Well thanks! I had a hunch it would be a good idea to upload it... One of these days I'm going to have to make a small TC with more detailed vegetable graphics.

    • I completely forgot that I had written descriptions for everything...

I think I'm going to have to make a mission string that involves the creation of several new vegetable contests on First Centauri, the cherry, watermelon and orange contests.

    • That's a fun plug. 🙂 I wish the Pumkins had Hyper-jump capacity, though.

    • Might I suggest: The Zucchinni Destroyer, The Peanut Privateer, The Rice Fighter, and the Kumquat Krait upgrade?

    • Heh, I can see it now. The Carrot Cruiser!

    • And imagine the fighter bay possibilities! Suddenly a massive orange frigate emerged from hypersace and in short order the Miracle Grow system was filled with peelings flying around wreaking their own special brand of havoc.

Thanks to the enthusiastic response, the next version will include all vegetables that have been mentioned and all new "vegetable wars" systems. Something to take up the time until Coldstone is released and I begin woking on an rpg...

Maybe it'll be vegetables versus fruit! I can just imagine the mission possibilities with the tomatoe identity crisis...

    • Don't forget your weeds. You always need an evil villain and truthfully how can fruit or veggies be evil? Hark, I hear the battle call of the Kudzu empire. Ivy cannons aweigh!!!

    • Mix in a little epic battle between Fruits and Veggies and you've got it made!

yar sitting on a GOLDMINE, trebek! 😄

    • But, then you have common debate on whether the tomato is a fruit or vegetable.

Lone Igadzra addressed this concern with this:

    • I confess that such an update may be a while in coming; I'm borrowing Riven from a friend and I just don't have the kind of will power neccessary to pull myself away from Riven. Oh well, it WILL get done.

    • LOL!

Another idea the evil, enigmatic aliens with a completely different biology to our veggie heroes:BUNNIES!
Just imagine-A mother bunny and a medium-sized buck bunny and zillions of little baby bunnies to pop out of the mother bunny
While I'm on this topic, you could add possums and other evil pests like weasels and tribbles.
      🙂

      Tribbles aren't evil! 🙂

    • Well,maybe not tribbles.
But you could make a tribble starship, with a tribble bay,and the bay releases a tribble which releases another tribble and so on but you'd quickly get up to 36.
      Rabbits are evil,anyway.
      BUT:Biowarfare!!
      Launch mixamatosis rockets!Fire RCD torpedoes!
      Kill those bunnies!
      Or:
      the good old .22.
But around here,we use a shotgun.
