Anywho, I'll join in as a mercenary. I just hope this goes better than Dark Shadow or Warfare.

      Name: Espilot
Ship: Hijacked and illegally upgraded UE Fighter
Specialties: Stealth, battle tactics, and hit-and-fade attacks
      Ship specs:
      50 extra shields
one speed upgrade in all fields
      4 neutron cannons
1 hunter launcher, 10 hunter missiles
      10 extra armor
2 fuel tanks and fuel scoops

Known Data: Last seen escaping Paaren Station in a stolen UE Fighter, which he had heavily modified with a stolen UE Passport, and then ripped the passport to shreds in front of the scientists, and escaped the security using a custom-made anti-detection system (cloak), fitted on the fighter. Since then he hasn't been seen or heard of in known space, except for a rumor of a scoutship spotting him in an uninhabited system to the northeast of UE space.

Espilot's UE Fighter, the Nightspirit, jumps into the Saalia system unnoticed by the local UE patrol as he activates his custom cloak that he made himself, which connects to the 2 fuel scoops and gets its power from that. He activates hyperspace again, deactivating the cloak as he does so.

He continues doing this until he is in Sol, where he cloaks until landing on the Lunicus base spaceport, at which point he decloaked, knowing it wouldn't be noticed. He exits his fighter, and walks to the Lunicus headquarters.

There he walks past the guards and into Titan's room. He is apparently unnoticed by the UE Supreme Commander, and says "I believe you know me from the 'incedent' at Paaren Station. I'm not on par with the UE, I know, but I'd like to offer my services against the Voinians." With that, he waits for a reply......

Why settle for a $3 pound of pork meat, when you can get up to 50+ pounds of human meat free?

    • .........

      I suppose I'll enter....looks fun......

I am a human that roams the galaxy, destroying evil wherever it lurks. From the Renegades, to the Azdgari, to the Voinians, I have defeated them all. Now I return to Voinian space to free the Hinwar. Agents of darkness......meet thy doom......

I have a dark Arada, armed with Neutron Cannons and Turrets. It's secondary weapons include a Plasma Siphon and a Heavy Rocket Launcher. I have enhanced shields, including the Azdgari enhancement, as well as Voinian/Human hybrid armor. My escorts are 2 Zacha Arada.

As the starlight cuts around my ship like a sparkling laser, the hyper drive engine hums quietly and efficiently. I pace the bridge of my ship, impatient to reach Hinwar space.

Finally the trip is ended, as the hyperspace energy dissapates and my ship drops into normal space. I fly my ship toward the planet of the enslaved Hinwar, and jettison a message probe with a temporary cloaking device into space. It drifts quickly toward the surface, where it should be picked up by Hinwar freedom fighters, anxious to scavenge supplie. They will find the key to their freedom in there, as I have enclosed a message seeking audience with the leader of the Hinwar in it.

I will be hidden by a large asteroid nearby, as I have more than enough rations to last a month.

    • MODERATION: Imperial Phoenix - I'm afraid you can't have any aradas as your ships or escorts, the Crescent does not exist in this story. Please choose from UE, Voinian, Emalgha, Human independant, or Human Renegade ships.

Lord Gwydion - Yes, SilverDragon would be the one to put words in the slave director's mouth. I'm the Hinwar, so I can't exactly go around controling the Voinians. 🙂

Redchigh - You can have the 2 Voinian Frigates that I assume you must have gotten by capture, but you can't manufacture any more Voinian ships or weapons. Also, remember that 50 or so ships is a lot for this story, so your "inneumarable fighters" might need to be toned down a bit. Thanks.

      Continuation:
Thunder, careful not to be seen by anyone who might be wandering in the mountains, slipped down a hillside and entered a hidden cave that had been appropriated by the Hinwar resistance. Over his back was slung a sack, in which he carried stolen computer pads and neutron blasters. Upon entering the cave, he noticed several other members of the resistance gathered around what appeared to be some kind of spacecraft.

"What is it?" he asked a Hinwar scientist who was examining the device.

"It appears to be some kind of probe," he replied. "There's a message hidden inside, but I'm having trouble getting it out."

"Here, I've got some things that might help," Thunder said, opening his sack and revealing the contents. After rummaging around for several seconds, the scientist came up with a computer pad and a connector cable. Finding an appropriate port in the probe, he inserted the cable and downloaded the message.

"It's from a man who goes by the name of Imperial Phoenix. He's requesting an audience with our resistance. Should we grant his request?"

"He might be able to help us," Thunder said. "Can we send a reply?"

"I'm afraid not," the scientist said. "The communication array on the probe is badly damaged. And even if we could, it would be intecepted by the Voinians."

"Hmm..." Thunder mumbled, "I have an idea. If we got the probe into space, could we get off a message without the Voinians intercepting it?"

"Probably, but how do you propose to do that?"

"Do we have any salvaged rocket boosters?"

      "Yeah, but just one."

"That's all we'll need." Thunder replied. I'll write out our reply and download it into the probe. Let's get to work, we should launch this thing as soon as we can, before whoever sent it decides to give up on us."

Phoenix stalked the halls of his ship as he silently cursed not having anything better than a Freighter-Courier to work with. Soon though, he could exchange for a much better ship......it would just require patience.

    • OOC: You said 50 warships for the Emalgha, i didn't know that fighters count
as warships... Oh well, I'll change my escort fleet.
3 frigates, 2Battleships, two Voinain Cruisers, and six Emalgha fighters.
ok? Oh, and why do no mercanaries come to Emalgha space? We need merc!

The Emalgha fighters are scouring Voinian space for parts, when one fighter, on a
hunch, scanns the landing ports on a planet, and finds one that is very lightly
defended! it is run-down, barely has a comm, but seems to be landable.... No
      obvious Voinian tags either... Hmmm...

<Private message to: Mysterious base (hinwar)>
Are you Voinians? We are enemies of the Voinians.. we are of the Emalgha.. we
      request landing....soon
      <end>

meanwhile, the fighters fly out of the system to the nearest asteroid belt, and wait
      for a response...

    • MODERATION: Redchigh - Fighters don't count as warships, but you can't have hundreds and hundreds of them just to get around the ship limit 😉 That's why I said that you should tone down your "inneumerable fighters" a little bit.

Also, since all the major government slots except the Hinwar second in command seem to be filled up now, I've decided to open the Human Renegades as an option for any new players to choose.

      Continuation:
The probe could now be seen, just outside the cave, with a large rocket booster welded to it's bottom. A panel controled from within the cave showed just 5 minutes until launch.

"How will we keep this thing from getting shot down by the Voinians?" one member asked.

"I'll field that one," Thunder replied. "It seems to come with some kind of cloaking device, he said, punching a few buttons on the probe, and watching as the probe and it's rocket booster shimmered and faded from view. All the Hinwar marvelled at the spectacle. Seconds later, Thunder, after searching for the appropriate (and now invisible) buttons, faded it back into view. "We've added enough power to it to keep the cloak going for up to 2 months. Until then we'll be able to use it as a covert communications center."

Suddenly, an alert beeped on the probe. It was recieving a message. "Quick," Thunder ordered, "Abort the launch! Now!" Thunder stepped up the probe, and using the same setup he used earlier, managed to download the message.

      "What is it?"

"It's a message from a new alien race, the Emalgha! They claim to be fighting the Voinians as well! But their ship is in trouble, and they need a place to land."

"There's a suitable landing site about half a mile from the cave," one of the resistance members said, "in that large valley where we store weapon stashes 7 and 8."

"Yeah, that would work as a landing site. I'll mark the location and send it along with our response. It shouldn't take long, resume the launch." As the countdown continued, Thunder typed in a quick response to the Emalgha, and uploaded a map showing the recommended landing site. After uploading the second message, he cloaked the probe again, and waited for launch.

The resistance member in charge of the launch gave an audiable countdown, which was followed by a large blast of hot wind, as the engine exhaust from the rocket booster could be felt, but not heard or seen due to the cloaking device. All the Hinwar present looked toward the sky, to see if they might catch a glimpse of the probe as it headed for space, but they saw exactly what they were supposed to: nothing. Five minutes later, the countdown operator let out a cheer, followed by a report, "The probe has attained orbit at a distance of 700 kilometers from the surface, and remains undetected by all Voinian forces!"

"Transmit the messages!" Thunder said excitedly.

      "Transmitting..."

    • sorry i haven't been on. anyways, i have to add a few things, i am a human defector and i am also excellent at disguise.

Kokoney marched down the corridor of the base on earth. disguised in a colonel's uniform he had no trouble to infiltrate onto enemy grounds. a small unnoticible camera was placed on one of the buttons of his uniform to relay his information to his captured UE fighter with one of his partners hidden inside watching what he was doing, with a small two-way communicating device for them. Kokoney walked to a restricted information chamber that had nobody in there.
"password is: DK96Y3," said his partner. the door slid open and closed before anyone noticed him slipping in. he walking up to the large computer and accessed all current (and top secret) events going on in UE.
He scrolled down until he noticed something interesting.
"stolen voinian amor data," Kokoney whispered. "You getting all that?"
"Yes," the reply came in."recording too."
Kokoney looked into the data. The materials used to make dospect armor was written in. Kokoney did what his instincts told him and erased all files on the subject and checked to see if there were any written files anywhere.
      "Blast!" Kokoney cursed.
There were files in a top security area. He would have to sneak in and retrieve the information. Meanwhile he would still check all the other files.
"Defectors," he told his partner,"doesn't say what group, but there are over 10 frigates who defected!" Kokoney's voice was less than pleased. He quickly checked everything else and decided to just load all the information and set a virus into the computer and all other systems.
This took only a minute and Kokoney was marching descreetly towards the chamber with what he wanted. When he was near the chamber he quickly pulled a black cloak over him (it is night time) and glided to the door. Pulling out a small pen-like object he pressed a button and a small laser shot out. He then carved a small hole in the door and slid through without the alarm system going off. Kokoney got up and walked to the files slipping anything importent into his shirt.
"I'm done," Kokoney told his partner,"I'm coming back."
In a few minutes he was in the docking bay and getting into his ship.
"Prepare to launch," he told his partner.
But the person who got up was not his partner.
"I believe you have some things of ours," the officer said holding up a blaster.
Kokoney thought fast, still with his small laser knife in his hand he thrust it forward and turned it on in the blink of an eye. The officer fell to the floor.
"Now to find another ship," Kokonet smiled.
After about 25mins. he found a small shuttlecraft with no-one inside. Seizing his chance he dashed for it and jumped inside, and turned the thrusters on and blasted into the sky. He set coordinates for Voinia, for he has important information for Korane.

How was that? (i have never done this before and all of yours sound so good)

    • OOC: I'm assuming that the Emalgha have not heardd back yet from their fighter who met the Hinwar.

BattleDoctor sat in his office, thinking about the status of the war. At the moment, Emalgha forces were managing to hold off the Voinian raiders, and not take a very large amount of casualties. However, he did not really think that the Emalgha could hold out for much longer. If the Voinians were to make a serious and well-coordinated assault on the Emalgha, he doubted the Emalgha could defend their homeworld with any degree of success. What he needed was a new ally.

BattleDoctor knew that to the south, there were many races enslaved to the Voinians, but he doubted that any of them coould be of any help. To the north and east of Emalgha space, no safe jump routes were known. However, the systems past Kelmaon had not been charted. Maybe there was only uninhabited space in that direction, but there was only one way to find out...

BattleDoctor called up a list on his computer of the 5 Emalgha pilots with the best scores on their most recent performance tests. He made a call to one of his aides, and told him to bring them to him. Within the hour, three of the five pilots had shown up. The other 2 had important assignments, and could not be called away. BattleDoctor briefed them that their mission would be to each command an Emalgha Warship, and that the 3 ships would travel to the systems beyond Kelmaon, starting with DSN 8209. If they found a peaceefful species willing to help, they were to act as emissaries to that species. After that, the pilots left, and headed for their ships.

Of course you do! I don't have Iothe Prime on the map right now, but since I added the human renegades,
I guess it's only fair that I add the Human Independants as well. The only problem with your post is that a
single militia wouldn't have nearly that many Kraits, considering the entire UE only gets 120 warships.
Since we have a Free Huroner, a Human independant might make an interesting plot twist...
