In the latest TV Guide, they had a small section on the next Star Trek series. It is going to be set 100 years before TOS, which means we'll see the birth of the Federation and Starfleet, as well as at least some, I'm thinking, of the Romulan Wars.

And supposedly, the ship will be named "Enterprise" but won't be a Starfleet ship. Just had to throw that in, it's my duty as a Trekkie. But I do think this belongs on another board.
