      Just out of interest does anyone here get scanned properly. I find that the AI ships just hail you a lot (and I mean a LOT) but even if you comply with all their requests (halting etc) they never actually attack. In EV theu confeds used to blast me all the time for doing "naughty" things but the UE, Zidagar and anyone else just sit there. Oh, and I am using 1.0.2 before anyone asks

      Yeah, same thing happens to me. Thats the only thing EV has over EVO ya know?

      I know that (from both doing the mission, and from playing around with Mission Control), but DeadMan's post sounded like he wanted to know how the UE government found out about the space mines, not how the game engine works...

    • I had the fine too, but that was for using illegal weapons.

      In my case it would have been Needle Missiles, but I don't use them that often, I just find they're convenient and lightweight.

      I had to pay 20% too and if I didn't turn up in court, I would have been barred from UE space.
