As for the armors and 2 handed weapons, your character graphic does not change when you equip new weapons and armors unless you've gained a new title or are switching fron a melee weapon to missle weapon. like from sword to bow. As for the part with the learning tree, I had that same problem. In OS 8.6. (The system I have) just click on the application and press command-i and you will see some stuff and a popup menu. on the popup menu, go to memory info and raise the minimum and preferred memory, i. e. 60000. that should solve your problem. It may be different for other systems, I wouldn't know.

with the 2-handed weapons, you cant be holding a shield to equip and the problem with the learning tree is called an HOM, or hall of mirrors. i have that problem too. its not a biggie.

I was going to delete this topic and repost it in a nicer manner but since I dont want to kill the long posts people have already made, I guess I will let it be for now....
Your character will only look different when you become a new class and or changes between Bow weapons and short range weapons like swords.
And usualy the bluring inside the learning tree is cause by low memory after playing for a long time. make sure you also have the PoG 1.0.1 update, that may help if you dont already have it.
FYI: ALL CAPS topics get annoying and short sweet topic names pointing to the overall point of the problem helps much more. Such as for this topic "Help with sprites!" etc.
