Just a 333Mhz iMac with 160 RAM. And an old PowerBook 520c with holes everywhere, but that I kind of like too.

Stupid, stupid voinian creatures.
I have a rather old Power Mac that was new in '98 with 150MB of RAM and it goes at about 200Mhz... It's good for anything I need it to though, specially scince it was updated.

I actually have seven computers, but I only use four of them.
1. Quantex pc with 700+ MHz and 126 megs of RAM.
2. PowerPC 604e with 200 MHz and 96 megs of RAM.
3. A 333 MHz iMac with 96 megs of RAM
4. A G4 with 400 something MHz.

I have a PowerMac 6400 200Mhz. It works very well, but rather slow while rendering 3D. I'm thinking on upgrading it with a Crescendo G3 card. Do you know if it works well?

I have a rev. b imac that seems to be falling apart one problem at a time. hmm. must have g4.

Just switched from a 5200CD to an iMac DV. The speed difference totally changed everything, causing me to learn completely new strategies. The increased speed lengthened the range of my energy weapons making Monty Python possible, again. The fighters and escorts suddenly became aggressive. The fighters are so aggressive that my 'new' longer-range energy weapons are essential to survival. Overall game speed is dizzying. Slowing down to 60-80% helps, but then my weapon ranges drop by almost half, so I am leaning to play with the lightning-fast action.
My 400MHz iMac DV feels noticeably faster than the 500MHz PIII (NT 4) I use at work.

I tried to upgrade my 6500 with a Crecendo G3 card, and it didn't work. During many things (notably playing games) it froze within a few minutes. The only thing I was able to do was render. I emailed tech support and they were less than helpful, and eventually reported there was a hardware conflict between their cards and the 6500's modem...I looked in catalogs and they never stopped selling that card.
That's taken my view on Crescendo down several notches. Proceed at your own risk.

A Timex Sinclair running MacOS 8.6 in homebrew emulation written in B.A.S.I.C. 1K physical memory, 48MB of virtual memory via a roomfull of daisy-chained 8-inch floppy drives. Boy, that Dreadnaught is slow!!!
Ok, that makes me feel lots better about my 6400/200! My wife has a RevA iMac. At work I use a 6100/60 'cause my Boss can't "justify" getting me a newer Mac. The whole damn company uses PCs.

Heh, well I thought that I'd break my silence to administer an answer to this question. (oh, and hey forge, whassup?)
I have a Power Mac 6500/225 (603e! Now that bites.) With 32 MB of RAM, and a 3.1 GB hard drive.
I also have a fully loaded iBook which kicks ass. 366mhz, 3.2gig internal, 12gig external, 256MB ram, etc. Very good for Unreal Tournaments with the SWAT mod, which kicks ass.

A Newton, for starters. Also a Power Mac 6500 with a Voodoo upgrade. A Mac SE. Ummm... an (evil) Performa 630CD. A Powerbook 1400. And a G4.
And, yes, Unreal Tournament IS better than Quake III. My G4 proved that quite nicely.

Hey folks, I still use my 5 or 6 year old Quadra 605. 25mhz, 250M hard drive. Although I did upgrade it to 36 megs of Ram. EV/O still look great on it though. My other computer is an IBM ThinkPad. I know, I know. It isn't the best, but I got it for free from my school as part of a scholarship, and I can't complain with free stuff. My only problem is that there aren't any good Mac emulators out there to play EVO on.

Thanks man. Now if my computer can make it there without freezing I'll be ok. BTW when you put down an adress(sp?) it will automatically make it into a hyperlink. Check this out (url="http://"http://www.fantasoft.com")http://www.fantasoft.com(/url)

I've got a Rev. B iMac with 160 MB of Ram, a Voodoo 2 card, Mac OS 8.6, a Cyborg 3D joystick, and an Intellimouse (I know it's from micro$oft, but it's awesome!). I am selling my computer on eBay, and I'm trying to decide what to get.
A G4, or a PowerBook, or a iMac (with a digital camcorder)? Decisions, decisions.
