In response to Jon,
Wow I feel dumb! What I said in that post was what this topic was started on! Sheep Shaver IS an emulator, it runs old mac things on OSX. The problem was that this emulator (Sheep Shaver) didn't run Ferazel's Wand for some reason... I think the question was, is there any way to fix sheep shaver to run Ferazel or is there another emulator to run it on? Both of wich have yet to be answerd.
This topic might be bettered placed in "Just Games" or "Just Tech", I'm no moderator. Hey if anyone does find anything out Please let me know! Back to tile laying

I have tried to run Ferazel in SheepSaver running 7.5, and it wouldn't start. There was no error message or anything, so I don't know why.
Harry ran fine under the same conditions, but had slightly wierd colors. No idea why this is.
Harry ran perfectly in normal BasiliskII(Not JIT, which only supports Million colors)running 7.5, but will crash if quit and then reopened. -

cry I want ferazel!
Alot of us do, but there are no plans to carbonize it and I don't think there will be. Our best hope is an emulator, or maybe that Aquaria will quinch our thirst. Why do people through out old computers? My G4 tower is almost 10 years old and is still going strong. My G5 on the other hand is in the shop because of a deep fried mother board. Damn faulty power cords...

No chance at the moment. It has problems starting up and as the OSX gets updated and more advanced it gets harder to run callasic wich means it gets harder to run an emulator. You can run Ferazel in classic but because of it's level of detail it looses FPS to quickly for it to be playable. So far it doesn't seem that any emulator program can run Ferazel's Wand, so for now we're stuck with the "Old computers only" lable on this game. ASW had no plans to carbonize Ferazel's Wand and it doesn't seem like they ever will, or make a sequel.
I feel sorry for anyone who has lost the abillity to play this great game, especially since I just uploaded the first half of my level set to the Ferazel Add-ons page (Try it out today! ). If Ferazel dies... well at least we can look forward to Aqairia coming out. I'll probally be editing a world for that game too.

I want to say no and to keep hope, but I know the answers yes. I guess you could go buy some old comp off of e-bay if you really want to play it badly. I recently talked about this on the Cythera forums:
http://www.ambrosias...howtopic=115088Data comes, and data goes, they are all bytes in the electric wind.

Maybe someone can contact the makers of Sheepshaver and ask about it..?
I wouldn't know who, but Wizard might. He's a forum member and (as far as I know) tends to hang out in the Cythera forums. He posted the topic "Playing Cythera in sheepshaver".

The person I was going to talk to wasn't sure. So i asked here:
