    • Name That Allusion!

OK, let's start this over. If you've played the Labyrinth, you've seen this pic:
      (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/spamguy/pictures/ferazelpic.jpg")http://homepage.mac..../ferazelpic.jpg(/url)

It's cute, but it's hilariously funny if you realise that this picture is making fun of another computer game. Here's a hint: this is the original:

For one karma point: name that game!

    • Marathon 2! It's the opening screen to the 'Citadel' section (levels 10-13)!

    • Don't forget the "demo info" screen when you pass the Ferazel demo! That's a chapter screen from Marathon 2 as well.

    • That's really worth a karma point? People who haven't played Marathon should be shot 🙂

    • I agree with Tall. Marathon is, in my opinion, still superior to newer games such as Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament.

I agree in everything except graphics quality, and (url="http://"http://source.bungie.org/")Aleph One(/url) will eventually fix that.

I am working on trying to get it, finding a site that really has what you need to play it is very difficult. I remember playing it before, and being interested by it, I forget why I stopped. However, Aelph One has been released, so maybe that will make me keep playing it.

It's an especially interesting time, because M2 has since gone open-source. New graphics engines for the game have made it quite pretty to play, as I understand it. Check out source.bungie.org for details.

<edit> Heh, sinclair beat me to the reference...! 😉

I would love Open-Source if it were easier to understand. All these websites usually have 8 billion poorly labeled files that you have to download. Just make one file, please! "Download this to play this." I downloaded Aelpha One and the basic kit, but it seems Aelpha One got corrupted. I will try again. ::sigh::

If I did sinclair.iKarma++, sinclair would get +2 karma. Since he's already gotten his karma from Zelda -- as I'm guessing -- Zelda gets points for being an extra-special mod. But it means nothing since she's blessed already. 🙂

He got karma, but it has nothing to do with this topic. It was something else. 🙂

      It actually rather surprised me.
