If you can have any ship without cheating than what would be worth the most work. This even includes plug-ins.

forge I didn't put them into categories and I said that are worth the work. Some of those ships might be favorite but not worth the work. Trust me I know people like that.

pooper have you found the Alien Crusader yet?? It's very hard to get and you can't get it by cheating but it's well worth it!!!! You have to kill the alien cruiser and only one fighter and then land on some planet... I forgot which one, find CottonMouse and ask him, he'll know. But it's a very very cool ship and the graphics for it are as awesome as a baked pancake doghouse!!!

You can get any ship from cheating just change the plug, or data, or whatever. I'v cheated on practicly every plug-in. Though Im truly not a cheater I do it to get ideas. Your ship still counts.

Meowx Design all you have to do is go in the resource containing the ship resources though I forgot what its called, open the resource of the ship you want to edit, than either lower the techlevel, bit set, or price, or any one yo need to edit and you can have any ship you want.

Considering that the member known as Meowx Design not only made the MAGMA plug-ins but also made the Quantumire plug-ins, he's probably one of the LAST people you should be telling how to dig into EV's resources.

Yeah I know you can do that for most ships, like forge said I've made a few (small) plugs so I know the basics of resource editing... but nothing fancy, I think this ship must be under some sort of resource protection because you can't see the resources for it when you open it with resedit!!! just like in EV : Foppish... I'm not sure if you can get EVF where you're from, I've only seen it here in Japan!!!!

Well I guess that it's kind of at a bad angle in this picture, the sun is reflecting off of it... see, it has these really cool sparkling lighting effects, like in EV : Nova only much better (I don't know why they didn't do that for all the ships oh well!!!!!!!)!!!
