Azdara: I'd recommend you buying a couple of those minelayers next turn (and maybe a Titan Mk. II or two). Might assist you in halting further alien attacks... Especially if you know how to use mining tactics.

I did. read my last post here prior to this one (I think it's the right one) more carefully.

New Weapon: Compressor Beam from BfS I. Except, I'm going to take the concept further and say that it's a compressed Particle Beam, with less power, longer range, and small enough to be mounted on interceptors. Think blue Needle Beam and you'll be well on the right track.

And, to carry the "new" weapon, a "new" fighter - the Manta returns! (And there was much rejoicing by the many who consider the Manta a sentimental favorite) Of course, it's been modernized substantially. ph33r.

Yeah, the original design didn't do too well in BFS II (against the aliens, at least). The Pirates seemed to have more problems with them...

Exactly. Skyblade and I are probably the only ones here who know what it's like to be running something this massive in our spare time. Maybe Carno, too - I don't know how extensively updated his story sites are. Yours are next on the list after the HC yard Bari, but I still have to sneak map updates in, etc.

The textures probably look familiar for a reason. The ships are supposed to match yours as close as possible, after all. Several of those textures are derivative works I created in Graphic Converter, though.

Correcto, Mac, and actually my website is a good deal larger than yours information wise. I had to write up histories, descriptions, technologies, weapons, and ships for 15 different races and governments. THAT is hard. Also don't forget the massive amount of pages of extra little informational stuff that I had.

Also, the new models are nice, but I liked the old Devil Ray model instead of the new one.

Okay, I finished the Dreden Porcuipine Minelayer. I'm fairly please with it, though if I had more time(the presures of school :)), I would have done a better job texturing certain parts of it. Those cylinders are where the mines are held.

Also Skyblade, here is that extra graphic that you wanted, the Dreden Poseidon. Smaller than a Titan, bigger than an Odysseus. Got to run, homework.
