A while ago a kid named Sparks2002 started publishing a story that follows a character named Dash Riprock, and is based in the EV universe. It was the first EV serial novel. Since then I know that several people have made their own EV stories, but all my old ev links are long gone. Are there anymore great online EV novels out there?

And does anyone, by chance, happen to have a copy of spark's Dash Riprock?

I don't expect almost anyone here to because it was published a few years ago on (url="http://"http://www.escape-velocity.com")www.escape-velocity.com(/url) which is now gone. Do you know of any other worth-while ev novels that are around? Do people still write them?

I'm sure there are still some members out there (Cap'n Whitehawk for example) who write some good stories, but I haven't seen any EV novels lately.

Really? I was thinking about writing one recently but decided against it because I figured that there would be 5000 of them floating around all over the place, but I guess not. Maybe soon I will start one or something... or maybe not. It probably won't get much attention, but I have nothing better to do.

I'm working on the outline. It will start with a guy who's a pirate in the standard EV universe, but after many years of pirating defects to the Rebellion to fight the fascist feds when the Confederation does something that he must get revenge for. Im not sure of any of the details. The hardest parts are a character name and a name for the story... I'll think about it for a while.

Nope, posting chapter-by-chapter is a bad idea. Stories should go to the Chronicles, not to the Boards, and posting each chapter by itself is even more annoying.

Besides, getting a webpage of your own isn't that hard. Even if you are unable to get one, its not as if a certain moderator of this board doesn't have a stories section on his (url="http://"http://www.evula.com/")oh-so-wonderful site.(/url)

First of all ares, I remember the story your talking about. It's a good one. Second of all, there are a good deal of stories out there. Try PlanetPhil's Zero Moment or ElGuapo7's Darkest Hour. Oh and third, thanks for reminding me of Dash Riprock.
