Hmmm...plug-in storylines...
Okay, here's one.
This is based on a game I'm creating for Lego's, but I thought it would be interesting for EV, since that's where I got the idea.
The year is 2245. The United Earth government has been replaced by the Galactic Empire, and the former Capellan Star Empire has been replaced by the Capellan Star Confederation. The former leader of the Confederation, Keyn Axox, is now the Overlord of the Galactic Empire. With the dissolution of the main political force, the hundred known planets have been thrown into chaos. Amidst the turmoil arise two new powers: the Brotherhood of the Red Fist, a ragtag group of rebels in opposition to the Galactic Empire, and the Union of Independant planets, formed by governors who wished to protect their holdings from pirates. Hundreds of pirates rome the hyperlanes, preying on merchants and convoys. Into this turmoil you are tossed. You begin your career orbiting the headquarters of the Union of Independant Planets, Spica Prime. With only a small cargo transport and a few thousand credits to your name, you are tossed into the turmoil to profit or be destroyed. This is NOT the same universe as seen in Escape Velocity OR Override. Possible government missions include conquering a planet, smuggling cargo, shuttling a diplomat to a meeting, or even fighting the battle that will determine the outcome of the universe. There should be many different types of ships. Outfits should stay mostly the same, perhaps with the removal of the Neutron Cannon. Bounty Hunting should be more diverse than in EV, and should be available through the mission computer. Also, all planets should have a spaceport bar, and the maximum number of escorts should be set to infinate.
And that's my idea for a plug-in.
