While I was just playing ev I saw a Rebel Destroyer that thought that capt. Hector is as annoying as I think he is. He was shooting all his missles and torpedoes and heavy rockets at him while useing his turrets!

If that Destroyer was an escort and you were cloaked when Hector jumped in, that might explain it.

**Well this eliminates your suggestion. The rebel Destroyar was not my escort and I wasn't cloaked.

Well, if you've been playing EV long enough (like me) unregistered then Hector starts attacking you. maybe he accidentally hit the destroyer when he was trying to hit you.
note: i know i shouldnt be playing unregistered but my printer isn't working and i dont have a credit card so i have to use snail mail... :rolleyes:

**Well, I have been playing ev unregistered for a while but Capt. Hector has never done anything but hail me. Also, I was nowhere neer the Rebbel Destroyer when it started firing at him. It had just finished blowing up the last remaining ship in the system ( besides myself and Capt. Hector) so I was wondering why he was still shooting and I went and found that he was unloading his weapons at the only imortal in the game.

How can you blow up Cap'n Hector? He's inmortal numbnuts! The only weapen that can kill him is the forklift <shiver> and that's a cheat!

**I guess he isn't imortal after all. I just cloaked and let my escourts go at it. I was kind of doubting they did it the first time but after the third time I knew that he had blown up. I did not use the forklifts and I don't like using them because it makes the game even easier than it already is!

**I find that while playing EVGE in my Alien Marauder, his little arsenal tends to make a small dent in my shields - a small annoyance enough that a shot from the disintegrator sends him packing...he's not immortal, exactly...
