For the Polaris missions, get in good standing with the Rebels (do their missions), when you get strong enough slaughter every Orion or Fed you see along the way. After a bit of this head to Polaris space and start checking out the bars. You'll run across a mission somewhere in there, and you'll be on your way.

Travel down to the far south of the galaxy, down past Polaris space. You'll come across the Alien portal in an uninhabited system. Make sure your ship is fast and loaded with nuclear missiles (a Puma will do nicely.) Please excuse the vagueness of my answers, it's been awhile since I played EVGE.

Ok, heres the deal. I had beaten the alien portal, and boughten the black lightning, now how do i shoot threee times it only will let me shoot one and then it has to recharge. How do i shoot three times?

What do you mean cheat? I dont want to cheat. All i want is a FRICKING alien maruader. Is that to much to ask? (said in a dr. evill like voice). But seriously it wont let me shoot more than one! OK, one more time. Purchase a Puma (if you have enough green), sell-off all your armor, shield regenerators and guns/turrents, leaving room for nuke launchers and all the nuke missiles you can carry. Think of a way to fire your guided nuke missiles without getting killed by either the portal or its escorts (hint: Don't just stand there, DO something!).
