Do you think it's safe to say Coldstone will be done and released by December 25? ( I sure hope so!) Thanks,

But I hope so. Depends upon whether any bugs are found in this Final candidate. if not, then i'd say there's a good chance of it.

I hope so to. But if it isn't, it HAS to come out before the end of this year, or I'm suing. Just kidding, of course.

Well, judging by the contents of (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/postdisplay.cgi?forum=Forum48&topic;=000769")this(/url) thread, I would have to say that it's quite possible.

An early release is a million times as bad as having to wait another few months. Trust me. Or go play world war 2 online, your choice.

That was an old release date. It was made a while ago. Things have changed. It probably will come out at Christmas or a short time after. But of course, ASW first said that Coldstone would come out a year ago, and it hasn't, so they are not to reliable. So I might be wrong. But I like to think that it will come out sooner than later.

I just checked the Beenox website, and they say it will be out by the end of 2001! So it may be out before 2002. Yippie yay!

It seems to me that Coldstone has been sitting there as a final canditate for 10 days now...

hmmmm, I don't have a gamecube, but I do have Pillars of Garendall. But every time I play POG I can't help yearning for the release of coldstone. It sounds like it is coming close though. I mean it's already on the second final candidate. I place my trust in ambrosia (and beenox) and heartily await the release of coldstone.

Iknow what you mean. Ambrosia's never let me down before and I doubt that they'll let me down again. I sure hope I have something ordered atleast before I hafta go back to school. But I can't be too hopeful. It's just that Ambrosia is a very trustworthy company and so is Beenox so my expectations of getting what I expect from what I'm told I'll get are high. Good luck getting it done and keep up the good work.

It doesn't seem so, does it? But then you have to consider that the folks at Ambrosia and Beenox are people, just like anyone else. They too (probably) would prefer to spend their time at Christmas with friends and family, rather than putting Coldstone online and watching their holday time evaporate as requests, registration monies and other various things pour into their inboxes. My guess (albeit only a guess) is that, sometime in the couple of weeks after Christmas, proably after the New Year as well, Ambrosia will quietly upload Coldstone, test it a few times for download problems and then give out a nice press release.
Also, you've got to consider that the majority of people do not have broadband internet, and so it has been stated that Coldstone will be released upon CD as well. I'm guessing that Ambrosia will try to coincide the Coldstone release online with the availability of CD's as well, or as close as possible.
So give the folks a chance to enjoy their holidays, get the CD's pressed, and them warm up either your broadband connection, or start watching your 'real' mailbox for that nice shiny Coldstone CD. Although, I must admit, a pre-order feature would be nice....

Talking to people in my family, they are always glad at the break over christmas, and most are taking time off till Jan 2. I wouldn't expect Beenox to work over Christmas, relax, have a few drinks, get together with your family, and just enjoy yourselves. We will all still be here when your finished
