    • Adios.

Well, it seems that you wont have the benefit of my wisdom for a few weeks, as I'm going away for a while. I hope nothing major happens to the board while I'm away...

    • DAMNIT
      Not another one!
These guys are dropping like rain!

    • Have a nice trip!

    • Grrrrrrr... We don't like people leaving so much...

      ------------------
"I can ail what cures you."

    • Damn. All I need is a quick car accident, and I'll be gone too.

There is no way I am ever leaving these boards. If I go, the ares comminity will be hanging on by a thread on Sundered Angel's shirt.

    • Um what part of "going for a few weeks" makes you think he's going for good?

    • Nothing. It's just that, If we ALL went away for a few weeks at the same time, the boards would be pretty boring...

(Okay, okay, I was tired when I read the topic...)

      ------------------
"I can ail what cures you."

    • And why my shirt? Why not someone else's shirt?

Well, I'm back for a day, then off for a week, but then I'll be back as your in-house Big Brother™ for a long, long time.

    • Umm... Why is leaving for a few weeks such a big topic? And if everyone left for a few weeks, it would not matter, becaude nobody (not me!) would be here to notice it!

Now we can all rejoice because Hera is here!

    • Because, sundered, you and I are the oldest members left. The difference is, You get respect, and I don't.

    • Uh, I was around for quite some time during the AresCentral.com days. Hell, I'm one of a handfull of people who had Ares when it was still owned by Changeling. So I'm not exactly a newbie.

    • Ya, mouse. I was around when you were new on the boards, too. Don't count all of us out. We're in greater numbers than one may think. My guess is that (apart from Grammaticus, of course) Replicant has been on the boards the longest. He was already a member when I joined, at least.

    • No one even knows me, which is kinda cool, but I've been around for a while. Like, ares for a few years, registered in the first week ambrosia's version came out, on the web board (mostly reading) since before it started to suck (when AC died). And now I'm gonna shut up 'cause I've just realized that I sound like one of those "I've played EV since I was 1 I hate newbies you can all screw yourselves" people. Sorry. Bye.

    • I had Ares from Changeling too. In fact, I've still got the PR4 demo lying around somewhere which is still enjoyable albeit without music. And also, I was something like the 18th person to register on the old boards with the little lightbulbs.

Aren't ibooks great? I get to watch people fighting here from the other side of the world.

I have a plan so ingenius even an idiot could devise it. We will line all our ships up and fly straight at the enemy death cannons therefore clogging them with wreckage.

    • Heh. Axis is dead, and not coming back. The server space it was on got pulled, see the frontpage of (url="http://"http://www.mythnews.com")www.mythnews.com(/url) for more details. Seems my friends weren't putting up ads when they were supposed too, and their host pulled the plug. Alas. 😉

    • Damn. Oh well, it's good to have you back. We were all convince that we had been forsaken by the Axis members. Which raises the question of why the hiatus?
