Quick question, is there a newer version of the bible, dated more recently than 4/9/03? If so, could someone email it to me? I thought I heard that a new one came with version 1.07, but as a windows user, I don't have access to that version :frown:

I did an automated doc comparison with Word. The only changes between the Bible that came with 1.0.6 and the Bible for 1.0.7 deal with removing references to the (long-buggy, to put it mildly) ability of dude and/or s˙st resources to point to flët resources:
The “Last Revision” date for the Bible changed from 6/5/03 to 11/2/03.
The flët resource: The line “Fleets can also be made to appear by including them in dude resources.” was deleted, as was “Note: The AppearOn field is ignored when the fleet is pointed to by a dude resource.”
The s˙st resource: In the DudeTypes key, “-128 to –639 (=) ID number of a fleet type to place” was deleted. In the line “% Prob (x8) (=) Probability that a given ship/fleet placed is of each of the above types,” the word “fleet” is deleted.
That's the whole of it! Everything else is identical, word by word and character by character.

Yeah, I don't see what the problem was, it always worked for me. All you needed to do was ensure that the MaxShips in the system is large enough to allow the fleet to jump in. Oh, well.
