I think I would be able to help if I got some idea as to what the plug-in contains. I don't see any reason why you can't give us a teensy hint as to what the plug-in is about, its not like we're gonna steal your ideas.

i agree, it would help if we had a little bit of insight, i mean, i could have plenty of ideas for some missions that u might like for one type of TC, and absolutely none for another one. but i could always be a beta tester if u needed, or even a spellchecker, and hey, this might even help me out to understand how to make my own plugs!

I know it would be nice to keep it a nice surprise but no ones going to get involved in something that could be about a race of robotic toasters that rose up from there oppression by the menfish and now ride about on intergalactic space horses

Do you have the permission of the one who created that plug to play off it? I seem to recall him asking people not to rip off his plug in the read me. Of course, I could be misreading your Rigel Megella reference.

If it is a plug in for Frozen Heart or Femme Fatale as the Rigel Magella clue suggests, you will probably need permission from Martin Turner. If it isn't, and is just a coincidence, ignore this post

And to the rest of you: don't worry, I sent an e-mail. It is a plug for the Frozen Heart, that is ALL I'm saying. Oh, and it's for EVO 1.0.2, until mikee (or whoever else) makes a working EVO-EVN conversion. Plus I need to register EVN before I can seriously start making plugs for it. 
By the way, I'd like to say that I know my stuff with FH. As well as playing through it and, of course, reading all the documentation, I've nearly finished the novel (which is, in my opinion, pretty damn good. Sorry for the cursing, but it's a ****ing great book).
I just really liked that galaxy and story, I always thought the other games were a little too... 'immature', for lack of a better word. It all seemed like 'attack <DST>' type missions. I am in fact planning to bring a little of that style of play into the plug (I found that Frozen Heart was mostly plot based, I want to add a little action on top of my own twists).

Im glad someones finally doing something for Rigellian and Magellan missions. I spent hours droppin by the Bars, Resturants and Cafes on Magella Prime before realising that Martin hadn't made any missions for them. :mad: I always wanted to aquire a Magellan Carrier legally ( Stealing one just made me feel hollow inside :frown: )
If its a quarter as good as Frozen Heart or Femme Fatale it will still be brilliant.

Okay, quick update. I've got a few missions done and am now in full swing. So far 20 have been completed and tested by me, and I already have someone to do the graphics I need.
Although I still can't divulge the full details of my plug, I will keep you all posted on this thread.

New milestone. 35 missions are promised, and I've only completed about 30% of the plug. Expect more soon.
And although I say this myself, it's a damn great plug so far. I've used every idea I can scrape from my little noggin, and it's coming out very nicely. I think it's the first time some of these ideas have ever been used in an EV plug, and I'm not just talking about the missions. The plot and general storyline are quite radical, so no under 12's playing this game, please.
I don't think I've got a hope of rivalling the great work itself, but I can at least give Frozen Heart a run for it's money.
There is no garantee on this, but I've been speaking to a couple of people about it, and there is a possibility of Quicktime Movies. It's not a promise, but I hope to get at least a couple from somewhere or another.

Nothing explicit, but some scenes may contain drugs and other things. You shall see as the time comes closer to release, mwuhaha.
By the way, I have No idea how big this plug is gonna be. It could end quite soon or go onto a massive project, I haven't decided yet. When it is nearly finished though, I want a few beta testers.
If you want a small, abstract insight into the game, I'll tell you what my influences were whilst and before making it: (films watched whilst programming and so on)
Cigarretes, drugs, corruption, GTA: Vice City, Goodfellas (the film, not the pizza), Deus Ex, Confed Rule (my EV plug-in) and, of course, Trainspotting (the film/book, not the hobbie).
Those are all shaping this plug in some way or another, sometimes descretefully in ways only I will know and others major parts of the story.

Clavius and Beyond had a nude picture in it as an outfit pic. I don't remember what the outfit did, though.
